Senior Care Drivers

Here’s what our drivers have to say:

  • “I have been driving for London Medical Transportation Systems for some time now and have enjoyed the work involved. I find my job interesting, satisfying and sometimes humbling on a personal basis. I am able to share a part in the every day lives of our clients and am happy to be able to help in some small way as compared to the large challenges some of them face. I have been trained to give the utmost of attention to each individual and to keep them safe as they travel to appointments. Because they care, London Medical Transportation Systems sets a high standard for all their drivers to follow! London Medical Transportation Systems has treated me kindly and with respect both as a driver and as a person.”
    –Lawrence Johnsson

  • “In the past 2 years as a driver, I have had the opportunity to meet many new friends, visit places I might never have seen, and have been shown many new favorite backroads that only the local clients could possibly know. The appreciation by the clients has been rewarding, but of particular joy has been the support and appreciation of the owners John Laverty and Anita Whytock.”
    –Karl Enns

  • “Are you looking for specialized transportation following an accident, surgery, need extra assistance because of mobility issues or just need a friend to support you at various appointments, concerts, theater or shopping?
This is what I get to do at Senior Care Drivers.
More than ten years ago after taking early retirement to look after a dying brother, I felt a need to return to work and satisfy my desire to help others which I had done working in the nursing field.
Nine years ago I was privileged to be offered an opportunity to become a driver for London Medical Transportation Systems now Senior Care Drivers.
When I say privileged I mean it in all sincerity. John and Anita go above and beyond to make you feel part of the team. Their compassion for their clients spills over to the staff.
We are made to feel like part of a family unit. We do not work for this company to merely garner a pay cheque, but work to nurture our desire to help others and in turn form lasting friendships.
How often in your working years received an accompanying letter; pointing out the positive effects you have contributed to the company.
Their motto: “Because We Care!” says it all.”
    –Elaine Russell
